Using Clip Art to Make Your Garage Sale Items More Eye-Catching

Tuesday, December 25, 2007

Clip arts are now widely-used to liven up banners used in advertising sales. For the uninitiated, clip art is a form of graphics that are actually drawn objects. They look more fun as opposed to looking too professional, thus more loved by kids and people who want to forget about the daily grind.
You don't have to just let plain and boring price tags or posters drag your advertisement efforts in letting the word out about your upcoming garage sale. The Internet, with the help of a bit of creativity, can make your garage sale posters and tags more vavavoom than ho-hum.
Garage sale and other sales events and stores use clip art. This is because aside from the amusement you can get from viewing them, they are easily manipulated and could you believe it - they can be used for free.
Here is how to use clip art to liven up your garage sale:
1. Categorize the clip art as to how you will use them.
For the price tags, simpler clip art for the dollar sign may be enough.
For the banners or posters, clip art that shows a busy garage sale day will be nice.
If you want to make your displayed items more eye-catching and well-categorized, you can use big boxes labeled with clip art.
2. Look for the clip art through browsing clip art sites.
Just by keying in "free clip art for garage sale" will turn up thousands and even millions of search results. Choose a clip art site and look for those clip art designs by keying in various terms associated with the garage sale, e.g., "price tag", "garage sale picture", "kids' item", "clothes", "antique", "accessories", "appliances", "toys", "home interiors", "home decors", etc.
3. Save the clip art designs you chose.
This can be done by simply pointing the cursor to the clip art and do a right click. Click "save picture as" and give the clip art file a name that won't give you a hard time when you're searching for that particular clip art. Save those clip arts in a certain folder and name that folder accordingly.
4. Print the clip art.
Choose a size that won't distort the image of the clip art. Then print them on good paper that won't smudge.
5. Cut the clip art.
Cut the clip art according to how you want them to look if you will paste them to another paper or cardboard.
Various computer operating systems provide step by step procedures on how to make the best of clip art. Do your homework and learn more on how to use these fun graphics.

Retired - And Getting Rich Online
© 2007, EMarketSociety.com, Hasnuddin HamdanIf you are retired it does not mean that your days of making money are over. Sure, you will be getting money each month from different sources such as a pension plan. But pension plans can hardly cover living expenses nowadays. Coupled with longer life expectancies, you will probably need to do something to have sufficient means for existence. If you have to work after retirement, why not go for the jugular and get rich? The bottom line is that just because you retired does not mean that you cannot cash in on the Internet trends that seem to pop up time and time again. Anybody can easily get access to the Internet. And if you can access the Internet, you can make money; it is that simple. The first thing that you will need to do is learn everything you can about making money online. And of course the best way to do this is by going online! As you can see the Internet is quickly becoming the best way to make money no matter what age you are. Your next step is to find an online opportunity that you are comfortable working with. This can be done in several different ways. One of your best options may be to get involved with an online venture that corresponds with the job that you used to do before retiring. This way you will have some knowledge of what it going on, which will in turn make the learning curve much more manageable. At the same time, you may be thinking that you want to try something new. If this sounds like you, you are in the right place. The Internet is nearly endless in possibilities. No matter what you have in mind, putting it into effect is more than possible if you take your time online. To find a way to get rich online why not look at what other people have done? Try to meet as many people as you can online and also read success stories. This will give you a good idea as to what is available, and how you should go about getting started. Some people find a way to tweak one little thing in an existing business, and turn it into millions. But before you can do this you need to know what is available. Being retired does not mean that your money making days have to be over. In fact, you will have more time than ever before to devote to making money. This will make the task of actually getting started much more manageable. Getting rich online is more possible today than ever before. This holds true for both retirees and young people alike. If you want to get rich online, start researching available options, and stick with your plan. Pretty soon you will be making more money online than your pension plan is bringing to you.

Why Being A Certified Media Placement Specialist Is Critical For Success
You might ask, “What is a ‘Certified Media Placement Specialist?’” Well, first of all, this is not about getting a certification to put on your resume to get a job. Why would we teach you how to work for someone else when we can teach you how to work for yourself? What we are teaching is how to specialize in the skill of media placement. This is bigger than just traditional marketing. However, it is similar in a lot of ways.
When someone masters the art and science of placing media, they start to control the game. If they master many areas, they are what many experts call a “media mogul.” A “media mogul” controls different forms of media and, ultimately, marketing.
When I think of those who have built true wealth in the world today, I think of Time Warner, Ted Turner, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and one of my heroes, Oprah Winfrey. Oprah is self-made. She is a self-made billionaire media mogul. Oprah is now the owner of Harpo Productions, has her own TV show, had a radio show, and does print media and Internet marketing.
We want to show you how to start small and find one or two methods of media that work for you. Then we show you how to add more and more media, allowing your business to grow and develop (often exponentially).
Although, in the beginning, we show you how to use Internet marketing as a tool, it is just one of many media with which to work. It very well could be the fastest, simplest and lowest risk of any of the larger media out there. If you can get things to work on the Internet, you can immediately start to work with placing other media like direct mail, ads in magazines, radio, TV and more.
The best part about this program is that the skills we show you as a “Certified Media Placement Specialist” are transferable to any business or industry. In fact, from my experience, it is the highest paid skill today. Even if you never work with me in our “Certified Media Placement Specialist Program,” it is my goal to get you to think bigger than you have ever thought about your personal success.
